Geometry Of Circles – Sesame Street and Philip Glass – 1979
Sesame Street has just celebrated 40 years of broadcast so it’s a good time to feature a video from a show that has educated and inspired many generations. This is collection of 4 separate animation pieces that appeared on the show in 1979. Relatively unknown at the time, a chap named Philip Glass composed the music specifically for the animations around the same time as his Einstein on the Beach opera.
It’s amazing.

This short was made by two chaps in 48 hours as part of the 48h 3D jam 2007 in Stuttgart… Astonishing. Everything from boards, design to modelling animation and shading. It also has a great story.
