Geometry Of Circles – Sesame Street and Philip Glass – 1979
Sesame Street has just celebrated 40 years of broadcast so it’s a good time to feature a video from a show that has educated and inspired many generations. This is collection of 4 separate animation pieces that appeared on the show in 1979. Relatively unknown at the time, a chap named Philip Glass composed the music specifically for the animations around the same time as his Einstein on the Beach opera.
It’s amazing.
