I’ve worked with Jonathan a number of times of the past few years. He has an interesting selection of hats; his art director hat, his prop maker hat, his radio enthusiast hat, his artists hat and probably many more hats that I haven’t seen him wearing yet. He’s a special breed of human that cares very deeply for the work he does. He has a good soul.

I took his photo last year after a shoot at Black Island Studios in London and started painting his portrait just before Christmas. I was reminded of the unfinished painting just a few weeks ago when we got him involved in a shoot for a new project. Today I had a conversation with him whilst he was buying a number of eclectic items; A drill, a wireless keyboard, a stool and a gun. “I know a guy who sells all kinds of stuff, I think he’ll have an Uzi, I’ll give him a call tomorrow”

One day I hope to stand before one of his mysterious structures…  http://www.jonathanhwright.com/
